The 50 richest stops on the Rennes network

The income shown is the median disposable income per consumption unit (INSEE Filosofi 2021) for the IRIS the station sits in, or for the nearest residential IRIS within 1,500 m for stops in business areas. An IRIS holds around 2,000 residents, which is the finest geography France publishes income at, and it describes the neighbourhood rather than the riders. The top of the ranking sits outside Rennes proper. Volney (35,790 EUR) and Sévigné (35,320 EUR), over toward Cesson-Sévigné, open the list, followed by Cesson - Viasilva and Fontenelle at 34,080 EUR, then a block of line C1 to the north-west where Discalceat, Forge, Haut Trait and Uttenreuth all share 32,780 EUR. CHP Saint-Grégoire, Grand Quartier and La Plesse follow at 31,790 EUR, and the Ker Lann campus, in Bruz, puts five stops at 31,280 EUR. The city itself only comes after that: Saint-Germain and Place Pasteur at 30,690 EUR, Sainte-Anne, the first metro stop in the ranking, at 30,500 EUR, and République at 29,920 EUR. The dataset covers the whole STAR network, exactly as the game does: of the 225 stops, the vast majority are bus stops on lines C1 to C7 rather than the two metro lines A and B.
