The income shown is the median disposable income per consumption unit (INSEE Filosofi 2021) for the IRIS the station sits in, or for the nearest residential IRIS within 1,500 m for stations in business areas. An IRIS holds around 2,000 residents, which is the finest geography France publishes income at, and it describes the neighbourhood rather than the riders. Here the ranking reads like a map of the historic centre. Jeanne-d'Arc leads with 31,450 EUR, then Carmes, Fer à Cheval and Île du Ramier share 30,930 EUR inside the Dalbade IRIS, and Capitole and Esquirol follow at 29,330 EUR. François Verdier (27,750 EUR) and Canal-du-Midi (27,010 EUR) round out the core. Two Blagnac stops crash the upper table, Servanty-Airbus (30,410 EUR) and Odyssud-Ritouret (28,880 EUR). The top 20 closes at 23,840 EUR with Patte-d'Oie. Two caveats: Île du Ramier mostly serves sports facilities and takes the income of the IRIS that contains it, and Servanty-Airbus serves an industrial site, with the income of the neighbouring residential area. Of the 60 stations, six were attached to the nearest residential IRIS.
